I’ve already reviewed Winter Wonderland but just had to dedicate a seperate post for the ice statues. I’ve always seen them as the highlight of my visit, and have posted about them in previous years. And this year’s effort, with the Deep Sea Adventure theme, did not disappoint. Here are my favourites.
Wooow that looks so nice 😍
It was very cool. In more ways than one ha. It was freezing!
these are spectacular
Real creativity. Just a delight to see so much talent. The lighting was subtle but well done.
Great ice art indeed. In Finland, I love this in Kemi:
World’s Biggest Snow Castle. You can stay a night inside snow hotel; You can get married in a snow chapel, You can taste cool drinks in ice bar and more.
Best Snow Castle photos.
Here is pure ice art in the open air in Mikkeli:
Ice sculptures.
Have a good day!
Those were delightful, thank you.
Some spectacular ice sculptures you have ‘icely ‘ captured in a wonderful place. The Astronaut and the Mermaid are my favourite.
It really was a delightful exhibition. I’ve always liked them, especially as they change the theme each year so always something original.
My goodness, just amazing.
Thanks. They really were amazing. Hope you’ve been watching lots of Christmas films.
I saw a really good sketch comedy show that debated Love Actually.
You?
Which was your favourite storyline from the film? Just Die Hard and While You Were Sleeping at the moment. Hope your decorations are already up.
Excellent Christmas choices. I had a bit of a crush on Lucia Moniz and enjoyed their storyline. I’d say there is something about Hugh Grant and Liam Neeson with the kid. Did not care for Keira Knightley’s plot. OH! C’mon its gotta be Billy Nighy all the way mate. It turns out I love his plotline the most.
He really was exceptional in I Capture the Castle
I think the first one is my favourite!
Such a rare colour. I had to wait for the right second as it had several different shades.
