Things to See: Magical Ice Kingdom – A Christmas Carol

I added some animal ice statues photography in my previous post, but really the main attraction of the Ice Kingdom at Winter Wonderland was using A Christmas Carol theme. The story of Scrooge’s redemption through the use of three ghosts (well four if you include Jacob Marley) needs no introduction.

Gr8at: #IceStatues at #WinterWonderland Part 1

I just love ice statues. Especially the ones in Winter Wonderland. They’re so creative and magical, with the lights adding that ethereal touch. Using 500 tonnes of sculptured ice and snow, this year’s theme was a wintry forest, filled with animals including wolves, unicorns and bears. In the first of two posts, please enjoy the display.

Things to See: #WinterWonderland

Running for 10 years, Winter Wonderland is a delightful way to celebrate the magical splendour of Christmas. Starting from 7 December, it takes over Hyde Park with attractions including food and toy stalls, rollercoasters and rides, ice statues and an ice rink and ferris wheel.
