Jurassic World is everywhere. After sharing my Bad Animals quiz, I thought I should share these photos I took in Waterloo Station in London. Especially as I haven’t done a Gr8at in a while. How many of the Jurassic films have you seen? Do you have a favourite shot? Feel free to choose the playful one at the end.
I haven’t watched it but the clicks are intriguing!!
Thanks. Glad you liked them.
I love the last one. I travel through Waterloo every day so I actually took some pictures of these too!
I’ve passed it a few times recently. I actually saw Man Up so it was even more apt. Hope yours turned out well. Remember seeing the first one at the cinema. Did you ever have a fave dinosaur? I used to like Tricerotops.
I go for number 6. I was at Waterloo not so long ago. Either I managed to miss them, or they have only recently appeared.
Be honest. Have you ever sung the Abba song? Or The Kinks?
Nope
Those are so cool!!!
I’ve seen all the movies.
Thanks for sharing these pictures. I wish I had a raptor statue in my house!
Thanks 🙂 That would work. It would certainly be striking.
Perhaps I’d like a raptor statue, but how about one of those creepy raptor claws Sam Neill has in the first film… brrrrrrr, sends shivers down my spine.
Any other films you’d like to have seen an exhibition for?
Hmmm, probably something that is known for its animatronics, a Del Toro film, Pan’s Labyrinth or something…
Funnily enough, I just mentioned that film in my last post. It’s just awesome isn’t it? And that ending…
How funny! It’s one of my favourites, I have a huge framed poster of Ofelia wandering into the woods on my office wall.
That is awesome. Feel free to send me the photo sometime. I hope you have a good view from your window too. I need to get this one framed http://oi59.tinypic.com/oif3ud.jpg
Oh I LOVE Totoro, it’s my absolute favourite Ghibli film. Unfortunately my office has no window, it’s in the roof of my home so it needs a skylight but unfortunately has none. It’s rather annoying.
There is so much great anime but Totoro will always be my fave too. That’s a shame about your lack of a skylight but at least it doesn’t take you long to get to your office 😉
Haha, yes, the commute is very short.
You know what? I guess that scene was foreshadowing the raptor escape but until you just said that I always thought it was a t-rex claw since they’d dealt with that one but I suppose it was too small for a t-rex.
I mean, did that make sense? They showed us the claw & then later he finds one stuck to his shoe or whatever it was. I never caught on *dumb*
I got you 🙂
I totally forgot about the raptor claw in the opening scene of JP too…I think the last 10 times I’ve seen that movie over the years it was on TV and I’d missed the beginning.
It would be awesome to see it again in the cinema for sure.
I never got a chance when it returned in 3D:/
Haha, I only caught on because it really scared me as a kid, I always thought the T-Rex’s were the ones to be feared, but those little raptors were scrappy.
aww very cool !! 🙂
I wish they did it with more films
These are awesome pictures!! I wish there were ones in Finland too o.O Have to watch that! 🙂
I don’t know how I missed this, sorry. I’m glad you liked them and hope you’re well.
There are dinosaurs at a station?! That is so awesome!
Well King’s Cross has Platform 9 and 3/4…
Haha yeah that’s true 🙂 The stations here have neither 😦
Even more reason to come to London 🙂
Haha yeah! 🙂
