Oooh that is a sad quote indeed… I really feel for Aidan Quinn’s character here because he did follow the rules and generally a good guy. But really, none of the characters really get what they wanted… and that’s what so tragic about it.
I was thinking that same thing. A lot of films are sad at the end, but that one is sad throughout. And that music theme is so haunting.
