This is dreadfully sad to write. I’ve read a lot of wonderful tributes to a man who could do pretty much anything on screen. From as long as I can remember watching films seriously, Robin Williams was always there. Whether he was playing an inspirational professor, a devoted father posing as a British nanny, a rebellious DJ or two very different Presidents of the USA, Williams could bring anybody to life with warmth, energy and compassion. And that’s without saying how funny he was, or how his range even extended to playing sinister and creepy villains. The world will miss both his outrageous acting talent and wonderful nature off it.
Below are 12 different Robin Williams images from different films that capture his incredible ability. I wanted this tribute to be all in one post and Limiting it to six just wasn’t an option. Unlike with the other film quizzes in this set, there are no difficult photographs. It is really more about looking back on a wonderful career.

Wow, 10 from 12!
So many great films and memories to look back on. Was it 10 and 12 that stumped you?
It was 12 and 7 (embarrassing!)
10 is a movie I like really a bit more because of its clean photography (and the story).
Not getting Mrs Doubtfire would be embarrassing! It’s a high score 🙂
How tragic, such sad news 😦
I have only seen 4 of the films listed above, but really did enjoy them…
It really was. I really want to see Mrs Doubtfire again especially.
12/12. And now I want to go watch every one of them. Miss him already.
I do too. He was involved in so many films that I can’t imagine anyone else playing. And he seemed so nice. That story about how he was the first person to make Christopher Reeve laugh after he was paralysed was just so moving.
Oh I haven’t seen that story! I’ll have to go look it up. What a great guy.
Great films! 9/12 …not bad, eh?
Nice one Amanda. I hope you seized the day too 🙂
10 of 12 🙂 The man was great and a household favorite from when I was a little girl till even now.
A very good score Kim 🙂
9/12 Not too shabby. Robin Williams was a great actor and an even better person. He will be greatly missed.
Very well said 🙂
