Ha. Hollywood at its finest. I really do like the picture too. It captures all the kinds of despair he feels. I’d like to see The Caine Mutiny. My dad says it’s one of the best acting performances he’s ever seen.
Hmm…well, this sounds dorky but The Sound of Music is my favorite everything 🙂 The Bishop’s Wife I love for Xmas, 12 Angry Men, The Birds, and I love The Godfather too.
Classic line, yet not a favorite movie of mine. Crazy, right?
No film is for everyone I guess. It is a magnificent film though. Funny to think of some of the original casting ideas mind.
Of all the lines in all this movie, you pick the best one.
Okay. So that was the worst ever attempt at parodying this classic dialogue ever. Live with it. 🙂
(And, by jolly, do I love this movie.)

I assume that’s Bogart, too? I haven’t seen much of the man’s work, really. He’s exceptional in Casablanca though.
My favorite line from the movie is, of course, “I am shocked–SHOCKED!–to find that gambling is going on in here!” And then collects his winnings.
Nice. What makes me laugh most from it is how so many people misquote the famous phrase.
Misquoting lines is something that people are famous for, like ,”‘Cuse me while I kiss this guy.”
And they can even provide titles for Woody Allen films 😉
Classic!!! This is my husband’s favorite movie. Oh, probably behind The Godfather lol.
Two very different types. Both superb choices. What are yours?

What a great line! One of my favourites! 🙂
Wonderful line from a wonderful film 🙂
Me movie preferida; I love casablanca … Play it, Sam. Play “As Time Goes By.” ❤
Lovely song 🙂
All time classic only rivaled by ‘Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn’.
Just noticed this, sorry. You are very right 🙂
