I haven’t done a film quiz for a long time. After such a long gap there were plenty of categoeis I could have chosen, but as my favourite film of the past few years was Nightcrawler (you can read my review here), it seemed right to chose loners as the theme. There are actually more on screen than you might imagine. Some are harmless, some deadly. Some are charming, some tortured. Please feel free to let me know how you do, if you have any favourites or even if there are any you think could have been added to the list.
I’ve done so many film quizzes since this early feature on New York, that I thought I’d continue the bloggerversary theme by putting films that just blew me away when I first saw them. Originally I thought about putting a mix of good and bad films, but I’ll save the shockers for another day. Whether they had me in hysterics, the edge of my seat, in deep thought or close to tears, these films really left an impression when I first saw them. Unsurprisingly I couldn’t fit them all into one post, so look out for part 2 soon.
I’ve been extremely busy so haven’t been to the cinema much or reviewed many films recently, but I’m not letting that get in the way of another quiz. Especially on a topic I’ve always taken a big interest in: films lambasted on release that have since become classics. Do you have a favourite among the six below? Is there a film you love but was left the critics unimpressed? As always the answers are below and your scores and comments are always welcome.
