Dreams feel real while we’re in them. It’s only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange.
Dominic Cobb (Leonardo Di Caprio) in the brilliantly thought-provoking science fiction heist film Inception (2010). Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film won four Academy Awards, raked in over $820 million and is considered a hugely imaginative modern masterpiece. I’m a huge fan of the English writer/director. You can also find other films of his on my blog, with The Dark Knight, Memento and The Prestige.
I’ll be seeing The Revenant this weekend, which as we all know prominently features Leonardo di Caprio, Tom Hardy and a rather aggressive bear. What a perfect time then to celebrate the funny, friendly and fierce brown and grizzly bears that have featured in Hollywood films. Are you a fan of them? How many can you work out?
Leonardo di Caprio’s superb portrayals throughout his career working with the best filmmakers has led to a cinematic repertoire that is the envy of pretty much any actor. Nominated for the Oscar four times for his acting, it is surely only a matter of time until he takes home the statuette. Below are six more of his films for you to try and work out. If you missed it, Part 1 is here.
He may not have won Best Actor at the Oscars yesterday (and big congratulations to Matthew McConaughey), but I was still blown away by Leonardo di Caprio’s performance in The Wolf of Wall Street. He’s had a phenomenal career repertoire that continues to grow. See how many of the six films below you can work out.
