Not everything that is faced can be changed but nothing can be changed until it is faced.

Writer and activist James Baldwin (1924-1987) whose immense talent and passion shone through in his themes of race, sex and class. Of all the many things I have read and listened to in the past few months that have highlighted the different obstacles black people have faced trying to get equality, this one still resonates the most.
