As I referenced in an earlier post I saw the acclaimed Covent Garden exhibition of provocative graffiti artist Banksy. Little is known of the elusive Bristolian, but his work continues to create debate and inspire his many fans. Around 90 of his artworks from 1997-2008 were displayed, along with some of most striking quotes.
I mean, they say you die twice. One time when you stop breathing and a second time, a bit later on, when somebody says your name for the last time.
The mysterious Banksy, whose identity continues to elude everyone. The Bristolian specialises in distinctive stencilling technique with evocative and provocative political and satirical messages. I went to The Art of Banksy exhibition recently and will post some photos from it soon.
There was so much to include in my review of The Chocolate Show I just had to add another post. Especially as there was so much eye-catching (edible) fashion and artistic expression, including a chocolate Banksy-inspired piece. Can you see yourself wearing any of these dresses, some of which are from Paris shows? How about the platform shoes?
