Last month I used the wonderful Rachel from Rachel’s Random Resources, who specialises in promoting writers by highlighting their work to literary bloggers. I wanted to thank all the reviewers for their time and effort in reading and their thoughts on my work. I would totally recommend all their websites too.
I wanted to share an interview I did with the very awesome Victoria Ray. We’ve been blogger friends for years so was a real pleasure to answer some questions for her Author Interview series. Check out the interview and her site by following the link at the bottom. Enjoy 🙂
Alexander Raphael discusses his new (third) book, his place in the literary world, the power and challenges of writing daily. His first book of short stories – THE SUMMER OF MADNESS – is famous for moving, funny, heartbreaking, informative, and utterly captivating plots. 28 more words
I have great news for you all. My new book is out. It’s a collection of short stories called Always Never, Rarely Sometimes and I’m so happy to be able to tell you all about it. Like with Illusions, Delusions, there are seven stories but this time the focus is on more traditional storytelling with a slight twist.
Read about a regular boy named Harry Potter whose life changes overnight when the literary character becomes a phenomenon. Or about a middle aged lady who goes for quiet coffee and gets more than she bargained for when she spots a group of four friends. Not forgetting the story about an unhappy child’s Christmas being changed thanks to a very surprising encounter. And there’s plenty more 😀
As part of my promotion for my new website http://www.alexanderraphaelwriter.com/(which you all supported wonderfully on my last post), I’m doing a 40 question quiz on topics you’ll find on my blog. So a nice mix of things like music, sport, literature will be on there, plus a few others.
There’s no video log on needed and all the answers will be multiple choice, so if you don’t know the answer there’s still a chance you’ll get it right. All you have to do is click on the link at 8pm UK time sharp on Tuesday. Hope you can play. Feel free to ask any questions if you want any more information.
It’s been just over a month since I posted about my second book, and I can still feel that adrenalin buzz. When you can see people around the world buy copies and give lovely feedback it makes all the many drafts worth it. For the writers among you, please keep at it because it is worth it. For those interested the link is below, with availability in both Kindle and paperback form.
