Welcome to my world as a teacher! I always marvel how some students tune out and then wake up and ask their peers for all the answers. The questions weren’t hard in the first place!
I love Calvin and Hobbes. I had a friend in school who barely paid attention and nailed straight A’s every time. I worked so hard and earned B’s and C’s. Only as an adult do I realize how truly exceptional her cognitive skills were. She’s the head of a research department at a prestigious university now!
Math was always the worst. Language Arts was my strength. How about you Alex?
maths must have been tough then. Science for me. I always found it tricky. Woodwork wasn’t great either but I didn’t have to do it much. I really liked English and history.
My favourite Calvin and Hobbes is the snot jar one.

I bet you’ve seen every kind of student and heard every excuse. Do you have a favourite film based on education?
