As comedies go, I can take them or leave them, but Whoopi Goldberg made this a must-see film. Could watch GHOST once a week for her performance – she was absolutely hilarious.
This film is a mix of genres really. It’s got the romantic element, the supernatural, thriller and comedy vibe. She’s incredible. Totally worthy of the Oscar.
One of my favorite film characters! Perfectly done by Whoopi Goldberg. I love that movie.
It’s a wonderful film. I saw it again recently and it really does provide a wide range of emotions. And I’d sure find it hard to say goodbye to $4 million too!

This is perfect, thanks for sharing! I love all of Whoopi Goldberg’s lines in the movie. Her character is so hilarious and I love that this film is first, a tale of passionate love, second, a story about fight for justice and, thanks to Goldberg, a movie with comedy turns!
Yeah she’s incredible in it. Her comedic timing was impeccable, but she got the heart within the role too.
Ghost simply wouldn’t have worked without Whoopi Goldberg. Would’ve been a very depressing movie otherwise.
Such a layered performance. Totally deserving of the Oscar. No one else could have played it any better.
