Line(s) of the Day #TeenageMutantNinja Turtles

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Leonardo: Master Splinter, if Shredder lives we’ll find him. We turtles don’t know the meaning of the word defeat,
Michaelangelo: That’s right. We never bothered to look it up in the dictionary.

My favourite cartoon growing up was The Teenage Mutant Turtles. No surprises that my favourite was the “cool but rude” Raphael. Feel free to share your favourite cartoon growing up.

    • Yeah nostalgia is a great place to be right now. If you have Netflix there’s a show called The Toys that Made Us, which goes into great detail about how no one was interested in them at all. And yet as soon at the cartoon was out, all the shops were immediately sold out.

  1. We weren’t allowed to watch much television as small children, but we were allowed to watch Sesame Street. But because it was an American show airing on the Canadian public broadcaster, there had to be lots of Canadian snippets included, such as how to count from 1 to 10 in French. These I didn’t enjoy so much as the American skits, especially the adventures of Bert and Ernie.
