14/15 – missed #2 even though Ive seen the scene (who hasn’t?), never saw the movie and had a black out when thinking of it 🙂
oops, missed the A! AR 🙂
It’s easy to confuse The Seven Year Itch and How to marry a Millionaire. Still a great score. Well done.
nice!
i recognized several of the old ones!
wishing you cooler days 🙂
Ha! Thanks. It was far cooler, thankfully.
I didn’t even get the right film for Marylin’s iconic picture
As iconic as it is, I’m sure there are plenty who don’t know the film either.
I guessed ‘Some Like it Hot’ 🙂
Oh well. That’s still one hell of a movie.
Got ’em all!!! I’m so proud of myself.
Awesome stuff Wendell! On Fire.
at least familiar with half…🤐🤐
That’s not too bad 😊. The Bridge on the River Kwai is one of my favourite ever movies. I really recommend 12 Angry Men and Do the Right Thing if you haven’t seen them too.
Nope, have to check 12 angry men…:) what a title haha
10/15, not my best score.
It’s only out of 12 don’t worry. It’s a great score.
Honestly I did not recognise any of them 😭 I’m very bad at movies 🤪
I have nominated you for the Liebster award https://popsiclesociety.com/2019/07/02/liebster-award-4/ Enjoy it! 😊🌸
How very kind. Thanks so much 🙂
CRAP! I had everyone right until A Time To Kill!!!! Still, lots of fun!
Good movie. I’ve read a few of John Grisham, but not that one.
About 8 I recognized. Most of them I’ve actually seen in the heat. Just for added effect.
That is an added touch!
I didn’t get #8 or #11…but I also missed #5!! I can’t believe it! Lawrence of Arabia!!
Ha! Don’t worry. I love the quote from that scene.
General Allenby: You acted without orders, you know.
T.E. Lawrence: Shouldn’t officers use their initiative at all times?
General Allenby: Not really. It’s awfully dangerous.
I also like that scene where he sees his wound seeping and does the right thing.
Indeed. And when he goes back to rescue the fallen guy in quicksand.
Got 12/12 but sadly have 7/12. Really love Lawrence of Arabia and really want to see Bridge on the River Is as I and Barton Fink.
I looooooove Bridge on the River Kwai so much. My favourite war film.
OMG!!! 11 out of 12!!!!
Brilliant stuff. Well done! You know your hot films. Which is your favourite from the 11?
It’s a 3 way tie: Rear Window, The Seven Year Itch & 12 Angry Men.
Ha. Yes. It’s so hard to choose just one. Great choices. I’ve been lucky enough to see 12 Angry Men in theatre too.
Nice!

I missed participating in your quizzes. My score is 8/12. I recall so vividly the heat in that jury room in “12 Angry Men”. It was almost a character on its own there.
For sure. It really was sweltering. You feel like you need a glass of water just watching it. The director actually narrowed the walls during the shooting so it is actually more crowded and sweaty.
Way late to the party but I got them all!
Nicely done dude. Impressive stuff. Us Do The Right Thing fans must stick together.
