You can’t start a fire without a spark
Taken from the song Dancing in the Dark by New Jersey’s finest Bruce Springsteen, from the iconic Born in the USA album (1984). Who doesn’t love Bruce? My favourite song of his will always be Secret Garden (with a soft spot for Thunder Road too), but had to add this to the set. Especially as it has such a great sax solo.

Bruce is so inspiring. Love this song and video…the video featuring Courtney Cox. We all wanted to be her, to get up on that stage 🙂
Such an upbeat song. Secret Garden is still my favourite but this is second. Always makes me smile when I listen to this. And it’s such a bonus that she became famous.

Yes. I’ve listened to this song more than I can count, but it still strikes me as profound even now.
