“What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?
The genius that was Vincent Gogh (30 March 1853 – 29 July 1890). The Dutch post-impressionist had such a gift with his art and I’ve always been a huge fan. You can find two more of his quotes here and here.
No truer words.
His outlook went into his work. Just born to paint. Have a bonus quote on courage 🙂
“Courage isn’t having the strength to go on – it is going on when you don’t have strength”
what a wonderful quote
It is wonderful 🙂 Henri Matisse said “Creativity takes courage”, which I totally agree with too.
I read a book about his life…he was very shy fella
Amazing how many creative people are. What else did you learn from the book?
He was crazy I love 🙂 in a red haired girl… (ps. I read it when I was 17-20 lol)
What did 17-20 Ray write about?
“Vertigo”. That was the name of my novel. I threw it away recently lol 😂
From a great height I’m assuming 😉
😂 maybe I’ll get back to the theme later 🙂
I think that quote speak’s a
lot. What is life if we don’t have the vigor to start a fire?
