Hannibal Buress, James Franco and Jason Mantzoukas in the hilarious biography The Disaster Artist (2019). The film tells of the making of The Room (2003), widely considered to be one of the worst films ever made, but which has since gained a huge cult following.

I have to admit there haven’t been many A24 films I thought were particularly good. That said, The Disaster Artist is one of the few exceptions (along with Good Time and Moonlight), being one of 2017’s highlights.
Interesting. What did you think of 2018?
I’ve been thinking about writing a list of my favorite films from 2018, so I’ll save my thoughts for then. All I’ll say now is that A24 will not have any representation in the top 10.
