There Will Be Blood is a great movie. It’s certainly a modern genre. Good to see so much imagination.

I was 10/12. You could have used Mel Brooks’ “Silent Movie” for a film from the 70s. Only one word in the movie, spoken by Marcel Marceau.
Not seen it but have enjoyed all the Brooks’ films I’ve seen. Having a mime speak the only line of dialogue is pretty nifty 🙂
“Silent Movie” is listed as holding the world record for a movie with the least spoken dialog.

Sam Mendes is some talent. Not many win a Best Director Oscar, let alone for their first film.
I like him a lot. I wish he’d hurry and make another film. He consistenly pleases me.

I love this quiz! My score is 10/12. I missed A Space Odyssey and The Artist. I thought they were hard to guess (for me anyway).
That’s a really good score 🙂 I’d recommend both if you get the chance. 2001 didn’t have a big impact the first time around but I watched it a second time and I noticed all the incredible visuals.
