[via email] The odd thing about this form of communication is that you’re more likely to talk about nothing than something. But I just want to say that all this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings.
Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) in the sweet romcom You’ve Got Mail (1998), which tells of two people who fall in love via anonymous email despite fighting as business rivals.
That is such a sweet quote form You’ve Got Mail. It has so many good ones, too.
It does. There were other ones I could easily have used. There weren’t others I wasn’t tempted to but wouldn’t have been so funny out of context, like when he’s about to meet her for the first time or the newspaper headline.
Love this movie 😍
Yes! Favourite scene? Mine is when he meets her for the first time and he goes with his friend as he’s too nervous. And he keeps asking the friend questions and doesn’t work out immediately that his internet contact and Kathleen Kelly are one and the same.
Mmm…Maybe when she says “I wanted it to be you. I wanted it to be you so badly.” 🙂 at the end lol
That’s a very sweet moment. And what a gorgeous dog.
Yep 👍😂
I remember thinking this was a sweet little movie. And who didn’t love Meg Ryan? Haven’t seen it in a long time.
Her and Hanks are perfectly cast. Such warmth and subtle chemistry with each other. Such a soft spot for this film. It’s been 20 years so has been interesting reading articles about how people view it now.
I need to give it a revisit. I know my wife wouldn’t mind! 😂
Thank you, I missed this in the movie, I really love this.
It’s easy to miss. I hope you get to see it again soon. Such a charming film.
Me too!
She is an adorable actor and the line is so true.
Have you seen Sleepless in Seattle too? The chemistry works just as well here. The same writer/director and she did a great job 🙂
Yes yes,I saw the movie
It’s very easy to rewatch 🙂
Then i will on netflix.
