Worrying won’t stop the bad stuff from happening, it just stops you from enjoying the good.
As said by Charlie Brown in Peanuts, the hugely popular comic strip written by Charles M. Schulz. The photograph is from Good Grief, Charlie Brown!, an exhibition at the Embankment Galleries at Somerset House, featuring original Peanuts cartoons as well as work from other artists inspired by the cartoon itself. I’ve previously quoted Charlie Brown’s very accurate take on chocolate here
I so love Charlie Brown!
He was around for 50 years! So much humour and wisdom 🙂
I love Charlie Brown and that advice on worry is spot on.💐
Very sensible for sure. Was he your favourite character from the comic?
One of my favourites.
I liked Andy Capp and Winnie the Pooh too. 😂

Ahhh, i tell my daughter this all the time.. Classic identity tags to inculcate and promote self worth. I refuse to have a shrinking violet for a daughter. 😊
Yes 🙂 “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Agreed Eleanor Roosevelt had the right of it when she said that. I second her.
True that. 😃
And the picture matched perfectly!
So good!
Like with this one 🙂

this is so true
He had a lot of smart things to say 🙂
Sound philosophy
He had so many. Another I like is, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder, but it sure makes the rest of you lonely.”
🙂
Wise advice from peanuts!!😃
He accumulated a lot in 50 years. Another one I like is, “Happiness is anyone and anything that’s loved by you”
Yes he did and touched a lot of people too. I love that saying, so very true!😊
Yes, yes, yes! So very true.
And a great thought to take forward for the year 🙂
So true are the words said by Mr. Charles M. Schulz! I have a little place in my heart for Winnie the Pooh…
They both continue to enchant readers.
Love this quote!
Glad you like it. Thanks for stopping by 🙂
CB was/is a classic teaching/learning tool!
He was kind, smart and honest. Pretty good traits to pass on 🙂
😀
wonderful!
i grew up enjoying
his ice skating rink 🙂
Great! I hope you’ve been able to skate recently 🙂
This is so true!!
Thanks. I’ll probably do another post on it with all the photos I took at the exhibition.
