As someone with a strong Mexican background, I just had to celebrate the Dia de los Muertes or Day of the Dead, a tradition that dates right back to the Aztecs. The traditions of the holiday are wonderfully captured in the Pixar film Coco.

Beautiful
It’s a wonderful tradition. If you haven’t seen Coco I totally recommend it.
I loved it and love the tradition
It really makes you think what would go on your altar to represent you.
I was thinking that, too –
WOW!!
Thanks. Glad you like it.
Amazing. The Day of the Dead has always fascinated me.
It’s a wonderful tradition. You must have loved its appearance in Spectre.
My favourite sequence.
Looks great! I love the candle and Day of the Dead of course
Thanks. Yes. I’m half Mexican so it’s always been vital to remember my roots.
Love it!
Thanks. I got into both Day of the Desd and Halloween. I dressed as the Dark Knight.
A wonderful post. I love Day of the Dead and the whole aura surrounding the celebration. Maybe because I was born in November, but all these things are close to my heart.
That’s a great reason to feel a connection. Some very cool things happen in November. Guy Fawkes, Diwali and Thanksgiving too.
Beautiful fall photoshoot! The last one is my favorite. Thanks for sharing. Happy to meet another blogger who enjoys photography as much as I do!
That’s so kind to hear. Thank you.
Gorgeous!
