Taken from the song Wish You Were Here (1975), from Pink Floyd’s album of the same name. I’m a huge fan of the English band and have quoted their songs Comfortably Numb, Learning to Fly and Time, as well as including them in Gr8at Debut Albums and Non-Festive UK Number Ones. I was also able to see Their Mortal Remains, their exhibition at the V&A.

Not my favorite Floyd album. That’s Dark Side Of The Moon. But it’s a great one nonetheless. One of the most iconic covers ever. 😃

Hahaha! Dark Side Of The Moon is just so good. I love Animals as well. They’re still one of the best, if not the best, concerts I’ve ever been to. 😃
You’ve seen them live?! When and where?
Yep, twice. Once in New Orleans in ‘94 and in Seattle in ‘87. Fabulous shows.
Got to admit I’m pretty envious. Both sound incredible experiences. Closest I’ve come is this exhibition

That’s cool. I almost went to Roger Waters when he toured a year or so ago, but couldn’t justify the cost of the tickets for just him. The prices for shows are getting way outta whack.
One of my favorite albums of theirs. They are in a class of their own.
They are. So original. So distinctive. So much talent. And the artwork is a crowning touch.
Who’s this Pink Floyd then? Some kind of indie band? 😉
