Taken from the hugely unique Once in a Lifetime song by Talking Heads, from their fourth studio album Remain in Light (1980). Though it didn’t even make the Top 10 in any major national market, the “half-spoken, half-sung” song and its video became hugely memorable.

Taken from the album title track Mr Tamborine Man by The Byrds (1965), a cover from a Bob Dylan original. Quite surprisingly, it was actually released the same year as Dylan’s, and both were hugely successful. I was on Art Gowns’ latest post and as usual, was blown away by her talent. On the comments section we discussed how I had done many film quizzes, but none as yet on fashion. So remedying that is my latest quiz which celebrates the beauty and originality of female outfits over the decades. As these looks are so timeless, it felt wrong to chronicle them, so the order is random. How many of the films they’re from can you get? Which grabs your attention the most?
