The striking 60m Giant Observation Wheel at the seaonal festive attraction, Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. I’ve always liked ferris wheels and included previous efforts in my blog. This is the one from Leicester Square, and the two from Vienna are here and here.
wow, what an amazing shot of this ferris wheel, this must have been a challenge to capture
Thanks. The colours were great. Just needed to get the right angle. Are you ok with heights? There was a rollercoaster too ha.
I really miss London…
I hope you get to go back soon. A beautiful city. And it’s snowing today.
Oh wow! I’d love to see that. I’m going to go back for sure. It’s such a beautiful city and I fell in love with it. Especially the night tours the city offers.
No shortage of things to do, day or night. As Samuel Johnson famously said, if you’re tired of London, you’re tired of life.
I agree 🙂
How very pretty. Nice capture. Can you imagine getting stuck up high on a ferris wheel? How many puns could you come up with while sitting there? 😜
A wheely high amount I’d have thought.
Haha
Wonderful!
Thanks Ann. I’ve been on it before, though not this year. But it really is eye-catching. Love the colours they used.
It is magnjficent indeed. A great capture through the lense. I don’t tend to enjoy rollercoasters but atop a ferris wheel always gives a sight to see, especially in such a festive location with the coloured lights of wonder.
Sincerely Sonea.
I used to like rollercoasters but not so much now. Things are different as an adult maybe. I’ve been on their ferris wheel before. It is lovely.
What a fantastic shot! I love it!😊
Thanks. It was so eye-catching. It was beautifully lit up I just knew I had to photograph it.
