I don’t normally put up photos like this, but I can’t imagine I’ll be getting any closer to the gentleman’s single’s trophy 😉 You can find other photos from my trip to the Wimbledon Museum here.

Good to see your face
Thanks. I don’t normally put too many photos of myself up, but I like how turned up. I really do like tennis too and did dream of lifting the men’s Wimbledon trophy.
So close and yet so far! Looks like you had a special time.
It was a wonderful trip. You have to come to London again and see it. I’d like to see the US Open one, and the Tennis Hall of Fame on Rhode Island.
I think the two of you are made to go together.
Thanks Bruce. Hope you had a nice weekend.
Cool. You’re probably closer than I’ll ever get to it.
And most of us. Anyone not called Roger, Rafa, Andy or Novak doesn’t seem to have much chance either.
Nice photo. Looks like a nice time
It was. it was really well done and I’d recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in the sport.
Great photo. Some of us can but dream of getting close to such a trophy.
Some dream more than others. What would your sporting dream be?
Winning the League with Everton.
That sadly feels more like fantasy at the moment 😞
Tell me about it.
I have a good friend who is a West Ham fan so we’re not alone
You make a good point there.
Hi Alex! Great to see you. And you deserve a blogging trophy.
Thanks Ann. It’s always nice to win something or be told that I should 😄
Who’s trophy is this one? Museum’s? They won the Wimbledon tournament once? Only kidding 🙂 Great post.
That would be some story! You should definitely go if you get the chance. It must be the most amazing feeling to lift it.
What a pristine photograph. It really shows the true worthy of such a trophy in all its golden glory and it isn’t hard to see the radiance beaming from your within you to be in that moment which is nice. You may have gotten as close as you could, but it surely makes for a great showcase in your picture of memories.
What a lovely comment, as always. Thank you.
Jealous!
I so wanted to take it home with me!
