And how does it feel like to wake up in the sun?
And how does it feel like to shine on everyone?
How does it feel like to let forever be?
The opening lines of The Chemical Brothers song Let Forever Be from the album Surrender (1999). The video for the song has long been considered one of the best ever, and is a true representation of the creative talents of Michel Gondry.
I loved this video and always felt the song was a good one, Alex. The levels and dimensions of the design repetitions were fantastic!
Gondry is phenonemal. My favourite video of his. Well Around the World for Daft Punk is up there too. Spike Jonze is superb as well.
What a trip watching that video-I liked it, really different in a cool way šThanks!
I’m glad. It’s nearly 20 years old and yet it’s completely timeless. Just astonishing creativity.
Couldn’t agree more – I really enjoyed it!
Damn that video is cool.
A great video really adds to the song. I’ll do a post soon on my favourite music videos.
I can’t wait to see that. Music videos, mainly older ones are usually pretty amazing and inventive. The evolution of them is fun.
My favourite Chemical Brothers tune. Reminds me of all sorts of good times.
Probably mine too. Though I do have a soft spot for Chico’s Groove.
