There was a fantastic set of free light exhibitions in Canary Wharf, London, which ran for two weeks last month. It was a collection of indoor and outdoor, with some borrowed for the event and others specially commissioned. The advantage of having several displays was made full use of, with some themed on sound, movement, brain waves and interactive displays. The area frequently puts up different temporary exhibitions. Among others I’ve covered have been the Remembrance Art Trail and Flower Sculpture.
Lighttastic
Here’s one I came up with earlier:
“We can easily forgive a child who is afraid of the dark; the real tragedy of life is when men are afraid of the light.”
Well OK, Plato 😉
Haha. Alex Plato. Philosopher, comedian and bearded Britmex. Keeper of strobe lights and a disco ball. The last bit is just pure speculation on my part.
I’ll let you know if/when it comes true ha
😜
Nice!!!
Thanks. I wanted to give a set of photos that gave a flavour of the whole exhibition.
