Over last weekend before Labor Day weekend, I was waiting on a date to come pick me up. I listened to the Best of~ “REO Speedwagon” and “Huey Lewis and the News.” Fun stuff. I also like to listen to the Eagles. I am way behind on reading but appreciate your recent visit, Alex. 🙂
The Eagles are amazing. I was aware of Hotel California before I remember being that into music. And they’ve written so many great ones like Take it Easy, Life in the Fast Lane and Lyin’ Eyes. The documentary was very revealing!
I’ve been listening to a lot of Lorde, Bastille, Disturbed, Adele, and 30 Seconds to Mars lately. I’m kind of all over the place. I don’t think I’m familiar with any of the artists/videos (except for the Rolling Stones, Incubus, and the Carpenters of course) so Im definitely watching the ones you’ve listed.🙋🏻😄
Disturbed did the cover of Sinon and Garfunkel didn’t he? Nice take on it. I prefer Leto acting than singing but that’s because I love the roles he chooses and i followed his career from way back. Nice choices 😎
He did. And Land of Confusion. I love Leto both acting and singing. Have you watched any of their music videos? Ones like Hurricane are like mini-movies themselves.☺️

It may not surprise you to know that The Carpenters are my favourite. The last song I listened to, a few minutes ago, will be revealed on tonight’s post 🙂
A while back I did a post on Songs to Put You in a Good Mood. This could easily have made it in. I saw a show on Britain’s most popular Carpenters song. It won actually. I will look out for the post 😄

Ah, I love Incubus. Lately though all we have been listening to is “white noise sounds to help baby sleep”. It is available on Spotify.
Sounds more calming than The White Stripes 😉
