Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
Ferris Bueller (Matthew Broderick) in the much-loved 80s classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986). Twenty years after it’s initial release, the story of a teenager’s perfect day off continues to entertain and inspire us all.
I’ve never seen this movie but like the quote
You’d love it. It’s so quotable. Definitely too late to use it as inspiration to cut class but you could always use it to get out of your upcoming studies 😛
Haha! I like how you think. 😊
Love this movie! Seen it a million times but watch it every time I come across it. 😃
I love pretty much all of John Hughes’ films but this is surely top. Just so effortlessly cool. I so wanted to be Ferris. I still do!
Really was cool, just the vibe of the movie as a whole. Love it! 😃
Classic film. Classic line. : )
The coolest teenager ever. A fun life for sure.
Love the movie and the quote.
Totally! I wonder how many people tried to repeat the theme of the film?
God I love this movie.
It’s endlessly watchable. And so tempting to try it. Have you seen that episode of The Goldbergs where one of the main characters decides to have a day based on the film?
I haven’t actually seen the Goldbergs.
So true. Great movie, too.
One of those like Back to the Future that no one could hate. The 80s had some awesome films.
Classic! Absolute classic.
John Hughes really knew how to write didn’t he?
One of the better movies of the 80s
What were your other favourites from then?
80s? Hmmm
Dirty Dancing was a classic. Flashdance. The Raiders of the Lost Arc series. Enjoyed the Star Trek movies as well. There were many.
How about you?
Quite a few when you start adding them up. Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, Amadeus, Field of Dreams, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Empire Strikes Back, Die Hard.
Oh you named some great ones. We probably can go on and on.
