I’ve always been interested in how photographers capture the spectacular beauty of nature. Unlike a previous post I did on photographs from the National Geographic, I know neither the place nor photographer but wanted to share them all the same. Is there one that stands out for you?
I love the underwater bench shot.
I have a soft spot for that one too. It looks like an awesome underwater park.
An underwater park would be so cool if it was possible that is.
And a rollercoaster too š
That’s a wonderful idea.
They’re all exceptional.
Nature is incredible, isn’t it? Eight different forms of beauty.
It truly is
Cool photographs.
Thanks. I wanted a nice mix of colours and climates š
These are amazing. The single white rose in a field of red, the iridescent clouds… It’s hard to pick one! ā¤ļø
A romantic symbol and metaphor š
These are all so pretty! I especially love the last one. I would love to know the story behind that bench
I would so pose with a book or newspaper if that were me haha š
Haha would be a bit difficult in the water though!
Probably need the audio book too then haha
I found out that the bench shot is from Austria from a place called Grer See. Get your German phrasebook handy haha.
Oh awesome! I looked it up and it’s really beautiful
It really is. Did I send you the photos from the blogger bash btw?
No you didn’t! Was it fun?
Oh right. I’ll send it to your Twitter now.
Instagram rather
awesome pictures ā¤
That’s always nice to hear, thank you š
Beautiful picrures
Thanks. I really wanted a nice mix. Photography has always been a big part of the blog.
Hard to choose… but I’ll pick the 4th one — snow-covered trees. Beautiful!
It’s a really striking contrast. White and gold really works.
Yes, it certainly does!
The bench for me
It just needs someone to write a dedication on it š

Mind-blowing pics… my favorite is the the second one… sending best wishes. Aquileana š ~
That one is special for sure. Congrats on winning your award btw š
Gorgeous pics, thanks Alex š the one third from the bottom, where / what is it?!!
I had to find out too. It’s Lake Baikal, located in southern Siberia in Russia. Looks pretty cold haha.
Thanks for finding out š it looks a lot more pleasant than the reality I’m sure!
I like the first and seventh ones. I am a sucker for the flowers.
I wish I could smell them too. Do you have a favourite flower yourself?
Tulips š·
Sending a set of Van Gogh and Monet paintings your way š
Wow these are all amazing shots Alex! Hard to pick a favorite as they’re all breathtaking. I think the second one is especially amazing though, and that underwater bench one too!
Like someone just took a paintbrush and got to work. I don’t even know how I’d begin to describe it to someone who couldn’t see it. I found out that the last photo was in Grer See in Austria.
2? It’s hard to choose, they’re all so spectacular. Thank you Alex.
That really is such a spectacular design. Amazing to think what photography can achieve. I usually hate caves and enclosed spaces but the photo beneath it looks supernatural and I so want to be there.
I completely agree with you about 3 Alex.
