Line(s) of the Day #Inception

Inception film.jpg

Dreams feel real while we’re in them. It’s only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange.

Dominic Cobb (Leonardo Di Caprio) in the brilliantly thought-provoking science fiction heist film Inception (2010). Directed by Christopher Nolan, the film won four Academy Awards, raked in over $820 million and is considered a hugely imaginative modern masterpiece. I’m a huge fan of the English writer/director. You can also find other films of his on my blog, with The Dark Knight, MementoΒ and The Prestige.

  1. Great line. Christopher Nolan is one of my favourite directors. The Prestige really is a brilliant film! Might have to watch it again, although I already know the ending…

  2. I loved “Inception” and really wanted an “Inception 2” I had so many questions, Alex!! πŸ™‚ Hope you have a lovely barbecue and family time over Memorial Day! Smiles, Robin

    • We don’t celebrate here in the UK, though we have a Bank Holiday this coming Monday so extra long weekend ahead πŸ™‚ Inception 2 would be an amusing idea. A sequel to Memento too.

  3. I was truly pleased to see your post.
Inception is way at the top of my favourites list of films.
It has all the elements of a great, classic Sci-fi / Fantasy story.
    It’s different – classy – new – ingenious – well-acted and directed – the pace is super.
I can go on and on.
I read much more than I watch films, but I love finding great ones like Inception.
It was also, I believe LC’s best acting role.

    • Trying to pick a favourite Leo performance is a nightmare haha. I loved him especially in Shutter Island and The Aviator. So happy you like Inception. One of my favourite films.
