Line(s) of the Day #SlavetoLove

The storm is breaking or so it seems
We’re too young to reason, too grown up to dream

Taken from the song Slave to Love by Bryan Ferry, from his UK chart-topper solo album Boys and Girls (1985). I’m a big fan of his elegant, velvety smooth voice, especially with his work on Roxy Music. Jealous Guy and More than ThisΒ are my personal favourites.

  1. Bryan Ferry is a God. However, you need to work on your spelling of favorite. You silly little Brits. You would think the origins of the English language began in your neck of the woods or some nonsense like that.

  2. Fantastic love. Coincidentally when I played Grand Theft Auto:Vice City I’d listen to More Than This and other 80s power ballads while doing car chases and shootouts.

    • I used to love those GTA. I normally play video games with the sound off and my own music playing, but I always kept it on for them. So much awesome 80s music.
