Steve Taylor: Well, yeah. You know, like nuclear weaponry. I mean, nobody likes it, but it can help to keep the peace.
Susan Walker: Steve, you’ve just compared our relationship to the Cold War.
Steve Taylor: Which, may I remind you, really lasted.

Sarah Alexander and Jack Davenport in the comedy Coupling (2000 – 2004). Written by Steven Moffat (who would later write episodes of Dr Who and co-create Sherlock), it told of the dating dilemmas of a group of three male and three female 20 and 30 somethings.

    • How is it that it never came up when we met? More than individual lines, I just loved how different incidents were related to by a female and male perspective. Do you remember when Jeff was so shy talking to a hot girl that he pretends he has a wooden leg? And she completely understands. So much so that he asks the gang to cut his leg off!
