Having gone to an amazing photography exhibition over the weekend, and having just celebrated a two year anniversary, I thought I would do a special post. Below are eight shots I’ve posted throughout my time blogging and are among my favourites. Feel free as always to let me know if any of them stood out most to you or to share what you most like to photograph.
Nice job! I like the one you picked for b&w too, it’s got so much texture and different shapes.
Thanks π It was one of my most popular photographic shots when I put it up the first time.
I love it, you should definitely make a print out of it.
Great shots – particularly your final selection. Trees can make excellent subjects if you have the eye.
I’ve always liked trees too. It’s one of my favourites too.
I love 1, 5 and 8! But they are all great. You have talent! π·
Why thank you kindly π I plan on putting many more up.
Oh good! I look forward to it π
Some excellent shots here; almost abstract. I like the clouds and the pink squiggly things
For me, the clouds one felt like a snow skyline.
Yes, and they can be so many things.
I especially love the fireworks photos- very artistic!
The two fireworks were from the same exhibition. I’d bought a new camera that same day and it worked out perfectly. You might like this one too https://alexraphael.wordpress.com/2013/12/10/travel-snapshot-san-francisco-usa-3/
I’ll check it out later today (if I don’t, I forgot haha)!
Ha! I know you have loads on.
Your comment made me remember haha! It’s a beautiful photo π
I’m glad you liked it. It really was a wonderful firework display.
Great captures, good job, Alex!
Thanks so much Louise π
The pink trails, the bridge, and the sparkler reflections are my three favorite of the whole bunch. Very nice!
Thanks Cindy π I wanted to give a nice mix. I’ll probably do a set of interior shots at some point.
Wow! great shots π
Happy 2 years! I love that you can go back through your blog history and cherry pick these pictures. What a wonderful reward!

Thanks. I might do an indoor one soon. When I first started the blog, photography wasn’t part of the site, but after the great reaction it got, I started to put them up.
These are stunning. Loved them
That’s so nice to hear. Hope you’re having a great weekend Fernando π
I had a splendid one π
Great photos! I love that last one, mysterious and dark!
Thanks. I wanted there to be a nice contrast to the sunset ones.
There is definitely a focus on light and light sources here. Amazing pictures.
Thanks. I really wanted a nice mix within the collection.
Great shot π
Thanks so much Leyla π
