Bing Bong (Richard Kind) in animated masterpiece Inside Out, which tells of a young girl’s life from the viewpoint of her emotions of Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust. (SPOILERS WITHIN COMMENTS)
Right here right now I think it is my favourite. Just so imaginative. So moving and thought-provoking in parts too. Which scene stood out most for you?
I agree! It blew me away. I was surprised by how much I loved it! There were too many scenes – mostly I adored the characters – total soft spot for sadness!
The dinner scene probably cracked me up most. And the last five minutes. But it also really well reflected how poignant things that helped make us who we are won’t always last as memories.
The last scene had my little boy in tears. Emotional is an understatement!
Right up there with that scene in Up.
Up is my all time favourite film! π
Many tears were shed at that moment. Not by me… but you know… others. These aren’t tears of sadness, they’re tears of pain. I stubbed my toe.
I know. So sad. It’s when he says that line as she leaves him behind on the rocket. For a character so upbeat too and made me laugh so many times too. It’s right up there as one of the most moving scenes from a film I’ve seen. When he knocks over the balls from the facts and opinions sections and puts them back randomly haha.
I can’t believe I still haven’t seen this! I really need to
You’ll love it. I hope you get to see it before your course starts.
I do too! π
My favourite Disney film in a long time! Loved this film!

Just got home from seeing this, and wow, what an absolute delight. I can’t wait to see it again!
I’ll probably be seeing it at the cinema too. Incredible storytelling.
