I’ve always been fascinated by films that play around with narration, especially those that have multiple storylines that interlink at different points. Do you have a favourite within the films below? Is it a genre you are fond of? As always, answers are below where you are more than welcome to share your score.
Answers below
1. Nashville (1975)
2. Pulp Fiction (1994)
3. Go (1999 – April)
4. Magnolia (1999 – December)
5. Love Actually (2003)
6. Crash (2004)
Only 1 out of 6 … *long sigh*
*hugs* There’s always next time. I don’t think many people will be getting six on this one anyhow.
Go! One of my favourite movies ever!
I’ve not seen it in years. I remember thinking Katie Holmes would be a bigger star but I guess she missed that boat.
Sarah Polley too, although her directing career is going pretty well now…
Always nice to see more female directors.
Yikes! I’ve only seen Pulp Fiction! Where have I been?
Well you have picked the coolest one. Be honest, do you like dance like Mia and Vincent?
I wish! Despite me having taken dance lessons for 16 years, my moves were never that cool.
I’ve only seen Love Actually. Actually, I loved it
Nicely phrased. It was a sweet film. I’m more 4 Weddings and Notting Hill mind. I’ve quoted Blackadder twice but do need to get more Richard Curtis on here.
I liked both of the them too
Interesting quiz! 🙂 Didn’t get Nashville… Don’t even know that one!
It’s a TV show now too. No relation to the film mind. Have you ever been there?
Nope! I’ve been hardly anywhere in America. I’ve seen much more of England! 🙂
4/6 😀 Couldn’t remember Nashville for some reason. Remembered Crash because of how much I hate that movie
My sister really liked it. Wasn’t blown away by it. I didn’t think it deserved Best Film either. I did love the music though.
Missed Go and Nashville. Pulp Fiction is the coolest movie out there.
There’s an episode in Community where they dress up as the characters. That would be so cool to do a party like that http://www.newnownext.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Community-Pulp-Fiction-Episode-Entire-Cast1.jpg?width=607&height=310
One out of six here.
It was a tough quiz. 4 is the highest score so far.
Wow so I’m only a D on the curve lol.
That’s still a pass in my book 😉
🙂
Pulp Fiction is an all-time favorite of mine. Husband and I hope to recreate the Jack Rabbit Slim’s dance scene at his sister’s wedding. 😉
That would be awesome. Let me know how it turns out.
Only 2/6, this time. Hope I’ll be better next time.
Am sure it will be 🙂
I got a 3/6. Not as bad as I thought I would do!
The way I see it your glass is half full 🙂
That’s how I am trying to see it too 🙂
I only got Pulp Fiction and I’ve been planning to watch it this week, actually 🙂
Enjoy 🙂 That film has influenced so many moviemakers. And more than a few dancefloors!
3/6! Not too bad 🙂
Not bad at all. This was a a tough quiz for sure.
I got one, even though I haven’t watched any of these.
That’s the number of one of my favourite U2 songs 🙂
Love Actually!
Which of the storylines was your favourite?
Only two!
I thought the average score would be higher but the quiz was a little tougher than I thought it would be.
I got all except for Go and Magnolia. I seriously have to see Magnolia one day!
It’s arguably Tom Cruise’s best performance. One of my favourite film intros too. Oh and well done for the score. Joint top. This was arguably one of the toughest ones I’ve done.
Great quiz. 4/6.
Great score Abbi 🙂
5 out of 6. What is “Go”? LOL
Amazing score Fernando. Take a bow!
