It’s only just been erected in Trafalgar Square, so I had to put a photograph of it here. The Gift Horse is a skeletal sculpture which displays a live feed from the London Stock Exchange. Created by German artist Hans Haacke, the bronze structure is the tenth artwork to occupy the Square’s Fourth Plinth.
Amazing!
Thanks. I haven’t put up a photo for a while and always great when people like them.
Fascinating!
Thanks Valorie. It really is very striking and very different.
I like this one but I miss the Blue Cock…
They don’t last long. Do you remember when people stood for an hour? Wasn’t it near there where Blaine had his box too?
so interesting!
It really is.
very nice 🙂
Thanks Leyla. I took a few from different angles but the first one I took was my favourite.
Apart from the live feed, which I could do without, it’s a rather sublime sculpture.
I don’t mind the live feed, but it won’t be for everyone. Do like the word sublime 🙂
😀 I use it too much.
You can bring the average use of it up 🙂
I will focus on the art and forget about the stock exchange. Nice photo, Alex 🙂
Thanks 🙂 I will try and take some more soon.
