The genre of rites of passage encompasses so many fantastic films that a second part was always a necessity. There are simply too many good films to leave out. Indeed, it would be quite easy to do a third part. How will you score with the six films below? Will you improve on your score from Part 1? As always the stills are in chronological order with the decade on the side to help you out. Please feel free to volunteer your score and any thoughts you may have below.

I remember the first time I saw Gregory’s Girl, I knew from that moment UK films would always have my heart. Thanks for reminding me. 🙂
It is an adorable film about a first crush. Happy to help 🙂
I’m in shock the only one I didn’t guess was “Gregory’s Girl” and I’m an eighties chick. Hmff
Still a great score. Boyz n the Hood really was a revelation. Be interesting to see what Zach Braff does too.
Five out of six. I have never seen Gregory’s Girl. I never had any desire to watch it. Is it a good movie?
No i haven’t seen it either, i guess that’s why i missed that one. i would have put “The Breakfast Club” for the eighties Ha-ha.
It was the second one that came to mind when I thought up the idea for the quiz. Didn’t want to put too many 80s films in but it may well be in Part 3 😉
It is a sweet film. Very British and very charming. I’ve only seen it the once but liked it when I saw it.
I will check it out when I get a chance.
Let me know what you think of it when you do 🙂
I certainly will.

2 out of 6 … Let’s just say I’m having an ‘off day’ shall we? And we’ll sweep it under the carpet! *Get the broom out*
Gets* …DOH! <— See, a typical off day!
There’ll be a Part 3 soon so sure you won’t need the broom again 🙂 Besides any nearby witches might need to borrow it for Halloween 😉
Eeeek! I haven’t been watching enough movies and reading enough of your posts, lately. I only got two of these (The Graduate and Gregory’s Girl).
I always like how much energy and humour your posts have, I need to check your posts more often too. I thought Gregory’s Girl would stump a few people.
Damn. 2/5 here. I should’ve known the Graduate, even without not having seen it .lol
4/6 – missed gregory’s girl and perks
Not a bad score Rob 🙂
