Gr8at: Garden Birds

Reading the newspaper yesterday I was made aware of retired physicist and huge gadget fan Dr John Crabb, who uses a mix of devices to capture the graceful and elegant movements of garden birds. His attention to technological detail has enabled him to take wonderful shots of all kinds of birds that visit the back garden of his Somerset home.

Below are my eight favourites, but there are plenty of others to choose from. You should definitely check out his full collection on his official site or on his Facebook page here.

Blue tit

Herring Gulls

  1. Beautiful. We have cardinals and blue jays in our area, so I am glad we have the apartment with the big tree out front, we see them a lot in cooler months.
