Having just got back from a wonderful trip to Rome, I just had to do a quiz that celebrated such a beautiful, romantic and historical country’s contribution to cinema. See how many of the six films set in Italy you can work out. Answers as always below. I will be doing a second part soon so don’t worry if you struggle to get them all.

1. Roman Holiday (1953)
2. La Dolce Vita (1960)
3. Don’t Look Now (1973)
4. Cinema Paradiso (1984)
5. Casino Royale (2006)
6. The Tourist (2010)
Wow, you just returned from Rome? I’m so jealous! I love that city. Where are your pictures? 😉
I missed #3 and #4. Oh, I better get that foreign film review to you. Can you remind me once more how I should send it to you?
Email me to alizarinfalls@gmail.com. Will be awesome to include you 🙂
Pictures will be up soon, promise.
OK, someone else referenced #3 this past week in another post. I only hope it is available for my October/Halloween Month movie viewing plans.
Ha!
I got 5/6! I bet you had an amazing time in Rome, it’s such a wonderful city to explore!
It really is. There is something amazing to see pretty much every corner. Nice score btw. Which one didn’t you get? 3?
I missed out on Cinema Paradiso! Never actually seen it before, now I definitely have to.
I’m not even saying how badly I scored on this *hangs head in shame*
There’ll be plenty of other quizzes which I know you’ll ace 🙂
Wow!! Rome would have been lovely. I visited it in April 2005.
I guessed them all, except for Cinema Paradiso and Casino Royale. I haven’t seen Cinema Paradiso. Love Roman Holiday, La Dolce Vita, Don’t look Now and Casino Royale, and like The Tourist. Nice!!
It is a beautiful place. So romantic, and cultured. I’m glad you got the chance to go.
4/6. Not too bad since I haven’t seen 3/4 I recognised!
Not bad at all Abbi 🙂

3 out of 6 🙂 I haven’t seen 2, 3, 4 so it makes sense that I didn’t get it 😉
Not bad Kim. So great you’ve seen Only You. Really such a fun romcom.
