There are so many great musicals that it is almost easy to forget how dance has been a storyline theme for countless films of different genres. In chronological order below are six non-musical dance films. How will you do? Feel free to do a chicken dance if you get them all.

Not bad 🙂
I got 2, this is the worst I’ve ever done 😦
Sure you’ll ace it next time.
6/6 I love dance movies. They’re my biggest weakness.
Not the first time you’ve hit a quiz for 6 🙂 I think mine would be films set in high school.
I got 5/6! Missed out on Shall We Dance, never seen that one!
I liked it but it got quite a panning from the critics.
I keep forgetting Footloose is an old movie. . . lol i keep getting it confused with the Step-up franchise (not as in thinking it’s the same thing, but a similar movie. Which, it can’t be. . .Footloose sounds like a classic!)
Footloose really is fun. The original of course. Did anyone see the remake?!
Well, I got Footloose and Step Up…so yeah. Bahaha.
You should choose a category 🙂
Oh gees. You’ve done so many! I wouldn’t know where to start!
And there’ll be plenty more 🙂 Next one up is a food one probably.
Ooooh can’t wait!!
4 out of 6 … But where’s Dirty dancing? That’s my fave!
I did think about it though I’ve always seen it as an unofficial musical.
I love ballet ❤ 3 Billy Elliot ❤
Come to London and see the musical 🙂
Um. What sort of dance should I do if I only get one of them (number one)?
Good question. Hmmm. Well you could always dance like no one is watching and have fun anyhow 🙂 http://tvrecappersanonymous.files.wordpress.com/2010/11/carlton-dance_o_gifsoup-com.gif
That’s the way I always dance. Because it’s the only way I can. 🙂
Win or lose at the quiz, what’s not to love about dance movies, great post!
Thanks. Really glad you enjoyed it 🙂
4 out of 6! I haven’t seen 2 and 5 yet so didn’t know them 🙂
Still a good score 🙂
