Any thoughts on the remake movie with Mark Ruffalo?
If anyone could do it, he could. I really do like the way he acts. But TV shows to movies are usually pretty woeful. And can anyone else play Columbo?
He’s perfectly cast to be honest, but as you say, TV to movie doesn’t usually work. Columbo is just so unique, I think whatever is made will pale in comparison.
I think only films based on computer games has a worse record haha. Though Johnny English was based on a TV advert…

If you are thinking iconic TV characters he is right up there. One of my all-time favourite shows ever.
I only saw the show as a kid, so barely remember it. But the character is definitely iconic. And he was awesome.
Here it’s still repeated all the time. If you do get the chance, they really are superb and you’d still love them as an adult.
Probably even more. Cuz now I’d understand them. 🙂
