Ray: You used to do this before we were married. You’d make me wait in the apartment while you were getting ready, and I had to sit there and look at your books.
Debra: You used to think I was worth waiting for
Ray: You were worth waiting for. But after 15 years you should be here by now!
Ray Romano and Patricia Heaton in the family-themed sitcom ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ (1996 – 2005).
I never get tired of this show, I think Ray was right in ending while on top, would still enjoy a movie special if the old cast needed the cash.
Yeah, and that last episode is superb. The perfect note to end on. And this line from one of many memorable episodes always cracks me up https://alexraphael.wordpress.com/2014/01/01/lines-of-the-day-everybodylovesraymond/
When pronounced in his nasal voice it is cracking me up 😀
That Lucky Suit episode still is my favourite 🙂
Everybody Loves Raymond never fails to entertain me.
The 90s really was the goden period. Along with Everybody Loves Raymond, there was Frasier, Father Ted, Seinfeld, Friends, The Larry Sanders Show, Fresh Prince and Will and Grace. And if you extend it to cartoons, The Simpsons and South Park.
I was only born in the 90’s, but I can recall a good number of those shows.
