Hollywood has made superb contributions to the gangster genre (as shown in my quiz), but before I do Part 2 I wanted to highlight the non-Hollywood (and in some cases non-English speaking) efforts. See if you can work out these six very special films as placed in chronological order. Answers as always below, and you are more than welcome to show off or explain your score.

We all feel that way sometimes haha.
I got five out of six. I have never seen Rififi.
Very good score dude. Rififi is a brilliant film. Superb, if you get the chance to see it.
Thank you for the recommendation, I will check it out.
Only 2.
It was tough. I’ll do the second part of for he quiz on gangsters, and have a think which theme to do next.
I only had 2 and 5.
If you only see one of them, see the first one. Rififi is superb.
Oh man, I haven’t seen any of these! Well, except for part of City of God which I didn’t understand. Adding to my to-watch list now…
What was the last film you saw?
I’ve been working on the documentary “5 Broken Cameras.” Before that, it was Edge of Tomorrow, I think.

It was a really, really, tough one. Only Robbin nailed most of it.
