Oh. They’re all over. When Schultz died, someone (I wasn’t quite living here yet, so I don’t know whom), commissioned statues of the characters, to commemorate his life. This Facebook page
tells me there were more than 500 such statues created from 2000 to 2004. Now some stores (and a few private residents) have purchased them for display, but more of the statues live in and around parks, where they were originally unveiled. I would guess the majority of them are in St. Paul, but there are more than a few in Minneapolis, as well, I think.
Did you notice any of the Peanuts statues when you were in the Twin Cities?
No…where are they?

Awesome. Thanks for that. You should take some of yourself with them. This is my favourite https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=664231976950359&set=a.474984859208406.108532.469836989723193&type=1&theater
That one is pretty awesome. 🙂
I am notoriously terribly at taking pictures (I’m about as not-visual as any human being can be), but I’ll try to remember to do that at some point.
Great line! Where would we be without chocolate? 🙂
