Brian Johnson: Dear Mr. Vernon, we accept the fact that we had to sacrifice a whole Saturday in detention for whatever it was we did wrong. What we did *was* wrong. But we think you’re crazy to make an essay telling you who we think we are. You see us as you want to see us… In the simplest terms, in the most convenient definitions. But what we found out is that each one of us is a brain…
Andrew Clark: …and an athlete…
Allison Reynolds: …and a basket case…
Claire Standish: …a princess…
John Bender: …and a criminal…
Brian Johnson: Does that answer your question?… Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club.

Classic! 🙂
I can’t wait for your John Hughes series
One of the best conclusions I can remember seeing in any movie.
True. And an awesome film all round. How old were you when you saw it?
Not very. I was 6 ish when it was released. Probably not even a teenager the first time I watched it. Initially, of course, I liked John Bender the most, but as I aged I gained an appeciation for the rest of the characters, as well.
How about you?
Early 20s. Wish I’d seen it sooner. Funny to think how much it inspired. Did you ever see this?http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Perfect_Score
Great movie!
And song 🙂 Walk on by or call my name. Rain keeps falling…
“As you walk on by, will you call my name. Come on call my name.” the desperation of high school days captured perfectly in film and song! Love love love it.
Summed up very nicely 🙂
I have never seen this show…
I really think you’d like it
Classic quote.
Is it your favourite John Hughes film?
I would probably say so, just love the soundtrack.
