Travel Snapshot: Amsterdam, Holland

The very wonderful Vondelpark is a 47 hectares (120 acres) public park which encourages cycling, birds and barbecues.

I haven’t been there in years! It’s such a wonderful park, but I live practically behind Westerpark so that’s where I usually go 🙂

    There is a sort of undeep canal-like pool for kids to play in, a petting zoo, the Westergasfabriek where they shoot tv shows and hold parties, lots of restaurants, a cinema.. And quite some more stuff 🙂 There is especially a lot going on now because it’s summer with festivals, concerts and other events. It’s a lot of fun 🙂 I’m not sure if it’s as busy as the Vondelpark as I haven’t been there in a while, but it’s definitely busy
