We’ve already covered black and white films ignored by the Academy in the last quiz, but there have been plenty of modern omissions too. The six films below didn’t even get a single nomination. See how many of them you can get. Feel free to comment on those chosen or even some others you think of that apply.

I know 3 (or 4) of them. Heat is a monster! The shootout on the streets!
And the dialogue. And the acting. And the theme music…
😉 Really!
I knew 5 and 6.
The last one was a tricky clue so well done on getting that one. Badlands is my second favourite film if you get the chance to see it
Interesting. Apparently “Metropolis” was a flop when it came out in 1926 too! (one of the all-time greats now). That makes me feel better!
I enjoy these quizzes, even if I only get about 50% right! 🙂
Some films are just way ahead of their time. Please keep doing them. I enjoy your feedback.
I knew the 1st and the 3rd one 😉
I’m listening to the closing track of Heat now. Astonishing music. 1 and 3 were probably the toughest ones.
Well I don’t know…I got them! 🙂 I need to listen to that track though :D. Have you heard Les Miserable track?? Its amazing! I love it
Not really a musicals kind of guy but I’ll give it a go.
Ohhh! A tricky one! x
I have to be sneaky sometimes 😉
Ouch… 2/6
I did use some tough pictures for most of them. I can’t rave enough about Badlands though.
Wow. Didn’t get a single one of these. My worst quiz yet! Lol.
Don’t worry. Pretty much everyone has a quiz like that at some point. They’re all superb films though if you get the chance to see any of them you haven’t already.
Got 3,4,5,6
Not bad at all
