When it comes to period drama, the art of cinema is capable of adapting a fine text to a film that is a joy to the senses. The challenges of a film being set in the past brought out the best in the six films below. A big round of applause if you can name all six correctly.

Have only seen Atonement, thought that was very good. Would you recommend any of the others?
You just have to see Amadeus! It’s a joy to the senses. The King’s Speech was really good too. Uplifting story, and superb acting. The others are really good too, but more for those who are really fond of the genre. I do take requests if you think of any categories.
I got 4! Yay 🙂 Would love to see the other 2 films 🙂
That’s your best so far, and on a very tricky topic. Well done 🙂
